In 2017, the D Jones Family Charitable Foundation continued as a Funding Partner for the Center for Childhood Resilience (CCR), a regional organization in Chicago promoting access to high quality mental health services for children and adolescents across Illinois. According to CCR, its model of care is centered on what is needed in a child’s life to build their resiliency. Children who are resilient are better able to cope with challenges, manage stress and make healthy choices. This year’s Foundation grant will support staff training in order expand existing programs, internet training and research.

About the Center for Childhood Resilience
