In 2023, The D Jones Family Foundation’s Junior Committee showed its support for organizations that improve the lives and wellbeing of others through direct gifts. Organizations that received a gift from the committee were:

A Place to Stand works with existing organizations in Champaign, IL, to create healthier communities by providing basic needs such as: stable housing, adequate nutrition, education, employment assistance, and healthcare.

Habitat for Humanity of Morgan County, part of Habitat for Humanity— a nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states and in more than 70 countries around the world. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward this vision by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of a decent and affordable place to live.

Pedal-for-a-Purpose 2024 Cycling for Cancer Care benefits Lee Health Cancer Institute in Naples, FL, and the Cancer Support Community. Whether riding solo or with a team, Pedal-for-a-Purpose powers hope and healing for those affected by cancer.

The Family Room provides comfort and joy to children in Champaign, IL, in transitional or temporary home situations by providing care packs, clean clothing, and other necessities.

Tunnel 2 Towers has been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders since 9/11. They are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.

The Table on Delk ministers to the homeless women and children living in hotels along the Delk Road corridor in Marietta, GA, who are currently, or at risk of, being sexually exploited. It provides a meal and a safe, peaceful place for them to hang out and get connected to resources that they might not know about.
