For the fifth consecutive year, the D Jones Family Charitable Foundation proudly continued its support of the children of Uganda through its ongoing commitment to the Hearts & Hope for Uganda organization. In 2015, the foundation provided construction materials and furnishings for a new school and, in 2016, its funds helped to purchase land in order to install a clean-water well in the village of Namwendwa. In 2017, its grant-supported first-aid kits, hand-washing stations, textbooks and a youth conference for six sponsored primary schools that serve over 1,000 children. The 2018 grant supported the establishment of libraries within Hearts & Hope supported schools in Uganda. And this year’s 2019 grant is earmarked to help fund Hearts and Hope’s Secondary School Sponsorship Program.
